I saw you several times at University of Wisconsin Stevens Point back in the 1972-76 years. Was reminded of your act recently while watching a show on Austin City Limits, and tried to describe your act to my husband, who apparently didn't see you during HIS college years at Michigan State and University of Wisconsin Madison.
Are you still performing? Ever play in Montana?
Best regards,
Kim

I saw you in the amphitheatre of East Tennessee State University maybe around 76. At that time you were introduced as Roger, Wendy and Sam and it was a great concert. I was just telling a friend today about seeing you, as we were comparing college concert stories. I still remember the outstanding version of Gimme Shelter you did that day.

Wow, thanks for a great memory.

I was just leafing through my yearbook from Butler County Community College, north of Pittsburgh, Pa., and saw your photo under "Coffee House Circuit". This would have been late '72 - early '73. Ah those were the days.

Always enjoyed your shows at RPI (Troy, NY) during the 70's. Still have the vinyl and some pictures .

I can't believe I found you! I have visualized you, in my memories many times since I saw you perform at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY. I was a student there 1973-1979. I think I watched you perform three of four times at the Student Union. I just read an article in the RPI alumni magazine . I really enjoyed those concerts.

Saw you guys(as Roger, Wendy and Sam)in Springfield IL three times in the early '70s--inspired me to buy, over the years, 3 autoharps--I'm not very good, because professional career, family, took precedence--but my songwriting has continued, and I am sooo very glad to have found out more about you all. Hope you are well, blessings..Lou

WOW! I was playing around on the internet and can't believe I found you. I attended UW-Stevens Point in the 70's and have many great memories of your music. Since my Bermuda Triangle album isn't is great shape, I'm excited to order the CD! My friends & I enjoyed partying with you guys at a place called Ella's Bar on a few occasions. Y'all are awesome and I'm glad to be able to listen to your music again. Thanks for keeping the spirit of that era alive! I'm in Austin, TX now. Do ever play in this area? Thanks again for all the wonderful memories of your concerts in that frozen tundra of Wisconsin!

Hi there. Remember me? Sam's niece? I was trying to find out where I can get the cuts that were on the cassette tape you guys sent home to us AFTER the Bermuda Triangle album release?? Are they mixed between two albums? I used to listen to that tape all of the time in my car, and, believe it or not, it finally just wouldn't play anymore. It has been a long time since I was forced to throw it out and that really bothered me. I didn't know if I would ever hear that stuff on the cassette again. Maybe you can remember which one I mean? Thanks so much for your reply. I hope this finds you both well and happy. Peace ~ Ang

WOW - how cool to see that you guys are still making music!!! My girlfriend (now wife) and I used to listen to you guys play at Central College in Pella, Iowa back in the mid-70's. You guys ROCK!!! I will never forget hearing you do a wild rendition of "Roll Out the Barrel" - what a blast! Thanks for the memories and glad to see that you guys are still around!

Incredible, not only are you guys still making music and have a website, but the first comment I read is somebody else who also remembers you from the times you played at U. of D. (I seem to recall it was the Bacchus Room in 1977 though; maybe the name was changed.) Thanks for a pleasent memory of a bygone day and good to see you're still at it.

Just looked you up on the internet, after 40 years or more. I must confess, I was enamered with Emmylou Harris at folk city, and predicted she would go far. I didn't hear about her again for 10 years, but she did indeed reappear, and went on to great things. You were not forgotten either, and until the internet, I did not know if you continued with music. Glad to see that you two also achieved great fame. Good luck in the future. Ever talk to Emmylou? Bob.

What a hoot to stumble across your site! I remember "Roger, Wendy, and Sam" when you guys played in the basement coffeehouse of the Phoenix Center at the U. of Delaware campus in the early 70's. How cool that you're still making music -- come play in Wyoming some time! (Check out the Beartrap Festival in Casper -- might be perfect for you.)

Hi, I just discovered your site, after being tipped to it by Vincent at Lion Productions. I saw the shows you did as Roger & Wendy at Wayne State College in Nebraska many years ago. Yikes. I remember there was such a buzz about you on campus. You were great!

It was such a pleasure to find you on the net after so long. I felt obligated to buy all the CDs, as I was probably present at most of the live performances at RPI.

Had the good fortune to be hanging around Gerdes Folk City in NY way back when. Those days I picked up on a lot of good music. I heard Dylan and S&G and I was lucky enough to pick up on you folks. Listening to you was always fun. I remember one time when you had just finished playing "Bojangles" and you literally could have heard a pin drop. The crowd was mesmorized and blown away, as was I.
I still enjoy listening to Dylan and Simon &Garfunkel and I still enjoy listening to you. Thanks for the memories and the music.

Heard Bermuda's cover of Nights In White Satin in the mid seventies in Amsterdam. Could never find it until a week ago in (Soho) Sister Ray's music shop. Now I'm playing it on my radio show in Cape Town and everybody wants to know

I LOVE your "Missing Tapes" cd. It's even better than the "Bermuda Triangle" album which is incredibly great.
I gave it to all my friends for Christmas.

At long last I finally heard your record. One of the few records I can call innovative and fun at the same time.

Thanks

How marvelous to "find" you! You played at the University of Hartford a couple years in a row back in the early 70s. My roomate, Jo, and our friend, Alex, and I also attended shows at Keene State in N.H. and in NYC (at Folk City, I think). I have an autographed 'R&W' album - yes, a vinyl LP - I still treasure. Good memories - and good to see you are still at it!

I used to see you play at Folk City in the 80s. Those were some great shows. It's nice to know you're still around and playing.

I just received my Pointer Alumni paper and saw the blurb on you. I saw you for the 1st time in 1978 during freshman orientation at UWSP. It was the first of many times I saw you at Point. Thanks for rocking the Coffee House, and the good feelings I got listening to you.

Huge fan of your group when I was at UW-Stevens Point in the early '70s! Had you over for dessert when you played in Marshfield. When The Pointer mentioned you, great memories flooded back--you were my college years! Bless you.

Hello Roger and Wendy,

I saw your not in the UWSP "Pointer Alumnus" and had to look you up. I was responsible for sound and lights a couple of the summers you spent in Stevens Point. I really enjoyed lighting your show. I think of you whenever I hear "Nights in White Satin."

Glad to hear you are doing well. If you are ever in the Minneapolis, look me up.

Alright you guys!I was only 15 in 1977 but discovered your LP many years ago. Your LP was one catalyst that led me to the UK freak folk of the 70s I have always been into heavily ever since. The Circus Maximus song was one of my very favorites before i heard yours, and then you guys topped it! Your music helped my brain to not categorize everything in life like it was used to doing. It is a thrill for me thinking that Wendy or Roger might actually read this! Sorry for the hero worship but I have dug you alls music for so long. God bless and please please let me know if you are anywhere near Dallas ever.(For me Memphis is close.)

I'm a friend of Michael's writing below, and he got me to attend your performances at the LSU Union. I was completely mesmerized by the musicianship and rapport you had with the audience. Glad to see you're still performing, and it sounds great as always.

Echoing Brent! I too saw BT with the RWS lineup back in the mid-70s/early 80s at the LSU student union - apparently, they'd hire y'all for nighttime entertainment during registration week... I see you have a pic from Lafayette, LA (USL?) on your website, and your new CD touts a cajun influence!! Well, laissez les bon temps roulez! I look forward to hearing your new CD!

Glad to hear that you are doing ok! Don't know if you are into science fiction, but you've kinda morphed into a union set of Spider and Jeane Robinson and Pentangle in my mind!

Wow!! I remember recording you guys in the student union at LSU in the 70's , your friend had just sent you new Beyerdynamic mikes , you came over and asked us to let you know how they sounded...I remember Wendy's voice so much clearer with the beyers, we were all just blown away. Great to see you're still doing it , I'm in Colorado now.
